Switzerland’s BKW is working on a submarine, dubbed Project Goldfish, that runs on solar power.

This submarine can accommodate up to 30 people simultaneously, and with the use of solar power, it can remain submerged indefinitely. Just make sure the captain doesn’t dive too deep as sunlight can only penetrate water by so much. Hopefully it will come with a backup power source of some kind, cause it certainly sucks to remain stranded underwater without any more power to generate oxygen and keep the sub running cool.
